DrownBase™ Fact SheetsDrownBase™ data is being analysed to produce a range of Fact Sheets. The information to be provided will be represented across three key areas of focus for drowning prevention in New Zealand; Activity, Environment and Demographics. The data represents fatal drownings in New Zealand from 2003-2007. The drowning data is analysed for all incidents for which water safety education initiatives are directed. Excluded from analysis are road vehicle, homicide, suicide, aircraft and other commercial related drowning deaths (Other).
