Surfing New Zealand Inc (SNZ) was established in 1963 and is the national governing body for the sport in New Zealand.
SNZ is a non-profit incorporated society promoting and administrating New Zealand surfing. SNZ is affiliated to the International Surfing Association (ISA).
Events (domestic and international) for males and females ranging from 10 – 60 years of age covering all disciplines – shortboard, longboard, Stand Up Paddleboard, Kneeboard and Bodyboard.
Select and send national teams to international events.
Learn to Surf programmes developing the sport at a community level
Educate officials and volunteers (coaches and judges).
