Sealord New Zealand Water Safety Awards 2011

Water Safety New Zealand (WSNZ) invites your organisation to enter the Sealord New Zealand Water Safety Awards 2011.

This is an opportunity for national recognition and the chance to share your success.

The Sealord New Zealand Water Safety Awards Terms of Reference are provided for you to review. There are three categories in which an organisation can enter an award: Education, Awareness and Prevention. It is possible to enter more than one category.

There is also a category which recognises an individual’s contribution to water safety. If you know someone in the community whose dedication and commitment deserves acknowledgment, we encourage you to nominate them.

We anticipate we will receive entries across a wide range of programmes, policies and campaigns. However please note that no project is too big or too small to be considered. Whether it’s a grassroots initiative or a national policy, if it fits the award criteria, we look forward to receiving your entry.

Nominations close Friday October 14th. Award winners will be announced at the New Zealand Water Safety Conference 2011 Gala Dinner on Thursday 24th November 2011 in Wellington.
